The Border Wars swim takes place in the Alton Bird Sanctuary in Missouri. It will be a 1.2 Mile narrow diamond shaped swim going clockwise through the course. We will have the course marked with large “tomato” buoys on each turn (two red buoys 20 yards apart on each end of course), and green site buoys along the way. Lifeguards will be in the water to provide all swim course safety along with assistance from local search/rescue teams. Take a look at the image, but rest assured-there is a beach for the start!
